We are aware of the CodeRage Discount Code issues that were experienced
yesterday in the following countries: UK/Ireland, Nordic, France, Spain, and
Italy.
The Digital River ordering sites for the aforementioned countries is still
not working with any new codes today. I did not send out a third discount
code to attendees for these regions for this very reason.

Please bear with us as we untangle this situation and have a chance to reply
to the hundreds of emails we're receiving on this subject.

What about countries in which no online payment system is available like
India
I had decided to buy delphi for PHP to show my faith in CodeGear(I already
own BDS architect with SA)I could not do it due to lack of inline facility

I have a similar query. In another thread on this group It was
mentioned telephone ordering for UK was
available for those wanting to take advantage of Coderage discount
until 11:59pm PDT March 19th ( 6:59am 20th march UK Time ).
Does this mean online promo discount code isnt going to be fixed
now ?

I for one now have a policy of never making a telephone order with
credit/debit card this way
for following main reasons :-

1) Most times the call centre handling this type of thing are
outsourced outside UK and often even outside the EU Area.
On principle I wont help to support call centres in these cases
where people in UK have lost their Jobs due to this
outsourcing due to greedy corporations . If they cant base the
call centre in UK for the UK Business you dont get
my business.

2) Issue of Identity/Date theft with Phone sales. Feeds on from 1.
Overseas call centres are the source of alot of
Identiy theft/Stolen CC data etc problems here. Even if its a UK
call centre its often staffed by Foreign Agents
with no proper checking of their background ( And thus a security
risk ) and who cant even understand your
requests properly. Only criteria seems to be how cheap can we
employ them.

Friday night and at that time I was told to wait for a new email
(which I still haven't received). Was I supposed to stay up all night
just so I might be able to place an order ? I don't think so !

Yes I had a mail about the issue too. The thread with the stuff about
Telephone sales is 'D2007 Discount?' .
No sign of promo code working on UK Store so I guess that it for today
for any Online Sales.
I used the customer serivce email address listed on the UK Store
(***@digitalriver.com) Saturday asking them
when promo code would be fixed. On Sunday afternoon I got an email
with the Body thus :-

"Thank you for contacting the Borland UK Online Store.
We apologize for the inconvenience, unfortunately, we are unable to
assist you with the issue at the online store.
Please contact Borland for assistance with your request.
Customer Support may be contacted at:
Web: http://support.borland.com/index.jspa
Phone: 0800 454065
If you have any further questions or concerns, please reply to this e-
mail.

Sincerely,

So I frankly not sure whats happening now .
